WEB DEVELOPMENT | SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT
Acacia Training is an Ofsted rated Good specialist training provider, primarily specialising in health and social care for apprenticeships, higher apprenticeships, mandatory training and work-based learning.
Acacia also specialises in health and social care training, early years training and childcare training, beauty training, dental nursing training, hospitality training and customer service and management training.
Acacia Training approached us in January 2019 to establish a clear brand and eliminate confusion with other training providers with a similar name. We aimed to increase course enquiries and establish Acacia as a lead provider of subsidised courses in the health and social care sector.
The company’s presence on social media needed a boost and the website was confusing and not fit for purpose. Branding was inconsistent and the company had no brand guidelines in place. We began by establishing clear brand guidelines, which would help us style social media content and begin work to redesign the website.
We worked with Acacia to ensure course information was accurate and up to date. We designed and built a new website, which was more fluid and easier to navigate. We created a tutorial for Acacia to be able to upload their own job postings from time to time and used a page builder to create the site, so they could change the content. We also created some templates so they could easily drag and drop elements onto a page.
We added a blog section to the website and researched and wrote SEO-friendly posts about subjects relevant to the industry. We also interviewed students and wrote case studies to deliver increased social proof and give people more insight into the courses.
We managed several social media advertising campaigns and regular organic content for the brand. Over a 10-month period, this resulted in a 25% increase of Facebook page likes (mostly organic), increased page interaction, increased enquiries, a 16% increase in Twitter followers, increased engagement, link clicks, profile views, and impressions. We set up a new Instagram account, which attracted 87 followers during that time with no ad spend.
LinkedIn followers increased by 68%, and the majority of social media advertising spend was allocated to this platform.
Following the new web build, and a constant flow of social media content, there were around 5,000 new visitors to the website, and vastly increased brand awareness.
